Adding Heated Grips
Just got my 2001 "Lite" home. It is the non-heated grip model. Previous owner bought the factory wiring harness/switch cover. My question is this...... Is the heating element already in the grips that came with the bike, or do I need to find a set???

The element isn't in the grips, it's on the bars , so no you don't have it.

That's not at all like mine looks on the 11S. Brown fragile crap with wiring running all over. I had to be super careful not to destroy it when I changed grips. They may have changed it since '99 though.
