My running / brake light solution

OK, I spent 2 days looking at all the LED, etc. light options, and decided on the following for myself, which involves no wiring or double-sided tape (see Kisantech.com or cyclegadgets.com -- no, I don't work for them....):

1) For higher-visibility brake light: the Kisan tailblazer plug-in halogen bulb ($59.95), which simply plugs in and has an initial flash that decays to solid after 4 seconds. The bulbs are brighter than stock, have a life of 2,000 hrs. and can be replaced with a standard G-4 halogen bulb (about $3.95).

2) For running lights: the Kisan signalminder ($99.95), which is also a plug-in (although the left side panel must be removed for access), and besides automatically turning off the turn signals, allows you to turn on/off the turn signals at a reduced intensity as running lights (what I'm interested in). In California, at least, the rear turn signal bulbs must also be replaced with a red bulb (you can leave the amber lens alone) to be legal as running lights (its also OK to have red turn signals on the rear).

3) I already have a set of halogen fog lamps mounted above my front fender, as well.

I like this set-up because there's no wiring, my bike continues to look clean and I can turn on/off the running lights as needed (for me, I'll only use them on the freeway at night).

These products have been mentioned before, but I thought my conclusions might be useful to someone else.
