Not working from here.

Do you have port 21 forwarded from your router to the FTP box?

Joe 06-01-2003 04:58 PM

JAS

You hit the nail on the head. I had to change the local address I changed FTP computers .

Could you try again

JustAnotherSquid 06-01-2003 05:02 PM

JustAnotherSquid 06-01-2003 05:05 PM

BTW I can't ping that address either. If you have your router comfigured to block ICMP requests, open that up. We'll need to be able to ping your router to help troubleshoot this.

Thanks guys I'm sure it's operator error.

This morning I just reset everything and reloaded the server program.

the FTP should be ftp://ftp.67.86.78.196/ you should be able to login Anonymously to download.

If you want to upload ......login as Bike and password of fast

I can get in both as anonymous and logged in. I didn't see that parts CD images though. You might consider setting this site up with a different port number than 21 or you might find yourself getting a lot more traffic than you intend. Just some advice from from a security perspective.

Joe 06-02-2003 05:14 AM

island_dude 06-02-2003 05:45 AM
