Oil extraction pump
Has anyone used one of these to pump out the oil rather than draining it?
https://www.amazon.ca/Flo-09644-Fluid-Extraction-System/dp/B00GZKRI3G We'd still need to check the magnets.

I use a mityvac fluid extractor at my shop daily. I got it from my Snap-On dealer. It uses compressed air forced through a venturi to create vacuum. Works great for pulling oil, coolant and gasoline from Motorcycles, ATVs, and other equipment, as long as you have the ability to run the tube to the bottom of the fluid reservoir. Many small engines now use plastic oil drains that get brittle with time. Using a fluid evacuator helps prevent breaking the cheaply made plastic fittings. For Motorcycle oil changes using the drain plug is still advantageous as it draws the debris from the bottom of the pan.

I'm not sure how you could get it to the bottom of the oil sump, but I have used a piece of hose to siphon the transmission oil out because I didn't have a tool for the giant plug on the R1100S. it actually worked pretty well.

I use one of these on my boat (small block chevy) sucking the oil out thru the dipstick tube. You have to run a tube down the dipstick into the bottom of the pan. Not a fast process, but it works.
