Thunderhill Opener

One of the boys used the R1100S 04 BCR all weekend. I road my Ducati and Karl blew up the Suzuki. Rain on Saturday afternoon so the R1150R saw a little action too.

Super pics. The 1150R looks particularly bad**s. How do the two compare on the track?

The R1150R can almost keep up with the S but has to be well ridden and on a short track.
We have bought an extra rear sub frame but haven't modified it or installed it yet. Modifications to it will let the rider place his feet much better on the riders pegs by cutting of the frame rear peg bracket mounting points, they hit the riders heels now preventing the proper foot position on the pegs. That will enable better lean angle and weight transfer for higher corner speed. Also will take off all the rear end fender stuff and save a little weight. It's been a fun project at little cost. It's our hooligan bike.

I've loaned them out to the boys last year too, they have a blast riding them. The track day provider really likes seeing the old bike keeping up with the new bikes.

I rode it once in the rain Saturday. You can see the heel of the boot hitting the frame.
