The House Began to Twitch ...

Hey Bill Swartwelder, Your neck of the woods is getting rocked by Mother Nature of late. I hope you all are safe and sound.

Yup. 30 miles from where I live got hit hard... a friend of mine lost his house, but he and his family are good. we get these every year... Usually there is more hype than actual storm, so after hearing wolf so many times people get a little lax.... I was at Kroger getting groceries when our siren went off.... The store sent all the employees and customers that wanted to join them to the cooler for safety.. Thankfully the self checkout was still open, Me and a few others just went about our business like nothing was going on. Little Rock wasn't so lucky. I do have my Repsol Honda, Nicky Hayden replica you gifted me in a safe place though, in case we do get hit.

Good to hear it missed you.

We had a tornado pass within 1/4 mi. of our home last year. It made quite a racket and seriously roughed up the structures in its direct path. We were mostly unscathed. My wife and the dog rode it out in the closet under the stairs. I was out in the front yard, knucklehead that I am, looking up in the sky to see if I could see anything. I couldn't. It was very windy and dark and over pretty quickly.

It's a humbling experience seeing the kind of damage it does. Glad you're safe.
