Riding in passes South Africa

Couple of us went playing in the passes this weekend . slept over in Barrydale . Two of the 4 bikes where R1100s . and the gs is also a R1100gs. Just such reliable bikes still . The yellow one has carried my wife and i for over 80 000km with no breakdowns . rain , cold , whatever , it starts and we love it .
we have a few other bikes , inc other BMW , but Big yellow is our go to for roadtrips . On long boring straight sections i sometimes feel my wife helmet tap my back lightly , then i know she has fallen asleep ..
