Recovering Corbin seat
I am recovering a seat of a K75S. I need a small amount of 01 black basket weave vinyl material. Does anyone out there have an old VW seat cover or any other source of such material?
Thanks, Steve |

Have you tried contacting Corbin for a replacement cover? I took the Corbin seat from my '99 S to an upholstery shop that does a lot of custom car interiors to recover my seat. They told me it would be cheaper to buy a new seat. I ended up buying a Sargent seat. The Sargent seat had nicer foam but was not nearly as comfortable as the Corbin was. The problem my Corbin had was the leather material had shrunk over time and it pulled the stitching out.

You can get one on ebay...or simply get it to an upholstery shop for a quick fix.
