How many clicks does it take? Suspention

Ok started playing with the knobs this morning to adjust for the bags etc. I was wondering how many clicks the suspention knobs take. It seems that you can just turn them forever. I got 10 clicks from full soft on the back and like 30 clicks on the front. Is there a point that it just doesnt matter any more, after about 10 clicks its about as hard as its going to get? Manual isnt too clear on this.

Thought I would add more to this. I weigh in at 185 with full gear. I weighed the bags last night and the left is at 20 lbs and the right at 22 lbs. I got a tail bag at about 8 lbs and the tank bag at about 8-10 lbs. So total would be 247 approx.

I don't think the number of clicks is as important as measuring the sag of the suspension. I assume you are talking about the rear suspension. If I remember correctly, the total travel of the rear suspension is 5.12 inches. I like my sag about 1/4 of the total travel. Put the bike on the center stand and measure the distance from the rear drive fill plug to the bottom of the canister. Then move the bike next to a wall or a pole and sit on the bike with both feet on the pegs balancing yourself with the wall or pole. Have a friend measure the distance again. The difference is the sag. I think most sport riders like between 1/4 and 1/3 of the total travel for the sag. I think generally as you decrease the sag (stiffen the spring) you will want to increase the rebound damping. Someone please correct me If I am off base here.
