Yikes ... I don't like the "Remove Centerstand" part. I'd rather have the centerstand + stock exhaust than aftermarket pipe and no centerstand.

You don't lose the centerstand. The cans are available by themselves so you could technically put the mufflers on with the stock catalytic on. You don't need the Y-pipe cat eliminator in order to put on the Laser mufflers.
Yeah the whole kit is pretty cool though. This is the exact kit that Tim got for his DickDogRed S. I'll let you know but I don't think that you need to remove the centerstand. |

Centerstand
Greetings,
The Laser PN # 96.7005 "System": Twin Oval "INOX" stainless cans, sport collector and the Laser PowerChip are a winning combintion. A well tuned combination, that has the benifits of a smoother running engine, more powerful performance across a wider powerband, and it just bolts in, a simple installation that you can do yourself. Oh, and do follow the instructions fully>>>DO remove the DB-Killers at the outlets...."for racing only"....sounds sooooo good. You can always put them back.... And the centerstand can stay! Happy Memorial Day! Cheers, Robert Foster Foster Design FosterDesign@att.net Last edited by boxercup; 05-24-2003 at 05:49 PM.. |

Greetings,
BMWMIKE, JAS>>>>The Laser PN# 96.7001 Twin Oval slip on muffler will slip right on to that Zach cat eliminator. Get the Paser Powerchip to compliment the setup PN #87.7004.Y for early Motronics>>>>PN # 87.7006.Y for motronics after Sept, 2000 production. You will like this set-up! Cheers, Robert

Center stands are bad. Heavy. Lower topspeed and acceleration. Centerstand is for Honda Deauville.
