Ohlins...again.

I ordered heavier springs for my Ohlins, and the front showed up over the weekend. It could have been a mis shipped part, since the invoice serial and the serial on the spring are different.

I'm not convinced its wrong yet, but can any of you who upgraded your front spring give me a serial number to check against the one I received? I keep forgetting to write it down as I always think about this when I'm at work. i will follow up when I get home tonight.

Thanks in advance.

Bob

Who'd you order from? I'm ready to go with a heavier spring than stock on my front Ohlins, but I've heard they're hard to get since Ohlins considers the stock spring (I think it's a 5.7 kg/mm) a "one size fits all."

Is there a 56, 62, or 68 in it anywhere?

The standard front Ohlins spring is: 180-44/57 L322

The next heavier front spring is: 180-65/62 020

Spring Serial

I feel a lot better about this now. The spring I have for the front is:

00180-65/62 L323

That seems to be the next heavier spring per your replies. Thanks all.

Happy as *****
Bob

Oh yeah, if any of you need one, BMW Atlanta has them in stock. I think I talked to Mick or Mack in their service department per listmember "Bobby Atlanta".
