Boxer Cup on Speedvision???
Okay, I searched through previous threads, then searched on SpeedVision's site for "Motorsport Mondial", the show which is supposed to carry the next Boxer Cup (May 15, French GP).
No joy. Can't find anything about Boxer Cup or Mondial. They carried the first Boxer Cup from Daytona, and even posted it in the program guide. Now nothing. Anyone know anything more than that? I was mezmerized watching the bump and grind, 8 wide, listening to the "angry bees" tones of the bikes! I want another FIX! I figure I'll tape the May 16 playing of the French GP, hoping they show something. Comments?

Other than the abbreviated Mondial coverage and Daytona, I've never seen any boxer cup coverage on US cable. SC's listings showed boxer cup coverage for a few weeks, but all they ever televised were re-runs of last year's AMA races. (I think there was a thread on here about what happened - some business/marketing snafu that caused them to balk at the last minute.)

Speedvision had the whole race televised last year. I recorded it!
Guess it wasn't as important this year cause that clown from Two Wheeled Tuesdays (Greg's Garage, raced in the boxer cup) wasnt in this years race. Cheers Tomas

I'm not impressed with Greg. I've emailed him a few times with unfavorable results. I heard rumours he's getting turfed after this season. To bad.....two wheel tuesdays used to be a good show and the theme is right. Now if someone could only smack some sense into Greg!

It makes sense though, to show your new bike (Rockster) to a larger viewing audience than to show an old bike (that may be history) when nobody is watching. |

Well from the posting traffic on this subject it's obvious to me that there are a few nobodys that want to see this. We must not be a big enough market share!
As for the "girl" since I'm never going to get to run a tongue over her, let along bed her, I don't give a squat what pillion she's rubbed on. I must be getting older, because I'm not attracted to that age of bimbo (a few more years on the clock looks better, particularly since I've got daughters that age). So if slightly older men are the big buying market, and at least a few of us have this kind of attitude, why do they keep pulling out the silicone Barbi?

Well, since the S is probably the worst seller in the line, you're right. We aren't a big enough market share.

the last i heard:
bmw pulled a VERY significant amount of advertising at the beginning of the year, from quite a few different magazines, TV channels, etc. without a BMW-commercial-infested show to run the Boxer Cup series, Speed pulled the races off the TV schedule. ...brad
