To move or not to move K topics
I say keep 'em
Why not keep them? Makes as much sense as a lot of the stuff I read here.....
Keep 'em. We need a place full of pure speculation. No facts, just fluff.
The K1200S forum doesn't seem to be seeing much traffic, but we seem to keep working these threads. Might as well keep them... Besides, the K1200S might become the "S"
Keep 'em. Very interesting tech.

Keep um' My 85 K100 with mega miles will stay right with my S. But it has the help of CC Products- bigger intakes, polished ports, hot rodded injectors etc.K bikes STILL have a place in the BMW motorcycle family!!
Keep them for now. Once it becomes a real boy, let it find it's own home.

Thats a tricky one to answer, if we keep them do we also have to keep Dr. Troll? Can we have him moved? ;)
Thanks for the vote Highlander.............your depth of understanding has surely boggled your own mind.
Of course keep ALL tech right here, including any S stuff.......two cylinder or four. We have had great BMWs.........and another is on the way. Not to worry twinwize......I will always have a twin and so will most of us. Why not sharing its sleep area with a low slung narrow four for a while. |
I don't think the new 1200 should be called a "K". It is a completely different bike from the ground up.
It is important BMW news and should stay:D |
Once the bike is on the streets it'll generate its own literature. Then we should have a different forum. Until then there's not much to say, but I think sooner or later the new K will need its own space.
Looks like it's already been done!

Keep the K-S posts for now because I'm getting tired of checking different forums but when it's out there and people are strating to mod them they should go on in the new k1200s forum. As for BMW calling the new K a K I say let them it's there baby so I think they can call it whatever they want.
