tires on are on and no broken bones or anything...
so upon my arrival home, saw a box with the wheel balancer in it and immediately tore into it for assembly. figured that was enough motivation to mount the new tires and get the S back on the road. well about 2.5 hours later, i had a rideable S again. was working in a tshirt and swim trunks...it was so humid, i sweat right through everything. took a break for dinner and then roa around the condo parking lot to make sure everything felt alright.
after the ride into work this morning, everything feels great. no vibes, and the tires feel pretty good. granted they are new and i headed to work on damp asphalt...time will tell. balancing wasnt so difficult, the front balanced out the same place as last time and the time previous to that. the rear didnt need any. felt great to tackle this thing on my own. had to grow a third arm to do it. once i inserted two irons at 9 and 3 o'clock, i would hold the 3 o'clock iron with my elbow/underarm and then walk another iron towards 12 from the 9 o'clcok position. that last little bit was a beotch. repoe3

NO SPROCKET--MAKE LIFE SAFER--(spoken in Yahbo-ese)
When you are doing a conventional sprocket rim, wait till one of the spoons slip and you get sprocket teeth marks on your forehead.....of course you can eliviate that by spooning the sprocket side on first, then do the other side last(the hardest to get on). But you don't learn that until the first time you get "sprocket head" disease ![]()
