LED tail/brake/turn signal
Check this out. Might be a great addition and still keep the oem brake/tail light.

Interesting, though the price is a bit much for a single-sided printed circuit board and a fist full of LEDs.
I'd rather have some sort of snap-on or double-sided sticky taped array of LEDs that fit on the outside edge of my stock mirrors and flashed with the turn signals. More of the high end SUVs are going to that sort of thing and we might as well benefit from following the crowd. I think one of the most important things is to get the brake and signal lights up as high as possible since the trend seems to be to vehicles with taller cabs (SUVs, trucks). That and a lot of 18 wheelers means we are about the lowest vehicles on the roads.
