Sport Bike Rally at Parry Sound ON

Once again the annual Sportbike Rally (July 9-11th) is almost here. For those S riders going to Sportbike (and who would miss it?) JoAnne and I will be hosting an R1100S riders "social" at The Log Cabin Fine Dining and Lodging in Cabin #5 on the Friday and Saturday nights. Try to get there about 5:30 p.m. It is on OLD Highway #69 on the east side just south of Hunter Drive. Newcomers and oldtimers with amnesia as to how they found our digs can ping me offline. Please r.s.v.p. Looking forward to seeing you all again and to some more great riding!

I'm 3 weeks into a new job. I'll try to get Friday off and see if Young Michal can get the afternoon off of work. Most probably only for the day.

Hey Roger ... count me in ... I'll be there rain or shine & am hanging at moto-central this year (better known as The Travellers).

Just looking forward to some long awaited R&R with the regular good folk who arrive each year. What more can you ask for?

Another fine rally in Muskoka with great riding, company and bench racing stories. R1100S riders in our bunch were Herb G (basic black) Dan M (d.d.p.

and my silver. Jean on his Duc ST4S. Mark L & Michelle on her R1150 GS. Plus various and assorted on KTM Super Motard, Suz. SV1100 and throw in a Valkyrie 1500 for some more variety! RC51 was never found and Tominator, I hope somebody is paying you to go to Vegas in July! Guess some like it HOT...... Sport Bike continues to be great, the two deaths this weekend were a tragedy but not unknown. Most of the riders are very skilled at this rally and the roads are always a thrill. Big winner on the dyno horsepower shootout? Chuck with his nitrous Kawi ZX12 with 277 HP! Great to see you all again.

Awesome time as usual, and the special dinner made for us in the traditional Indian fashion was a big bonus.
Maybe next year we can rent a large cottage???The late nights at the Traveller are wearing us down, 5 AM !!NO SLEEP.

I ran into the guy with the Triumph 2300, makes other large cruisers look cheesie, they really did this right, and I hate cruisers.

Mark, that Triumph cruiser was doing wheelies at the SuperMotard race on Sunday. Must have been a sight.

It is a Friday, Saturday and winds up on Sunday for travel. Good to get there early. Will keep in touch on this.
