AARP bike Grows Lip...
O.K., I've joined the AARP bikers ASSIC and got the old man accessories piling on my S.
Barbacks, peg lowering kit, touring windshield, and now... The Lip...now if I could only figure a use for a whip antennae.... ![]() Update on how/if it works this weekend. Now I have to sell something to pay for it $92 shipped. I have a set of heated grips for sale... Used Heated Grips

Some fine modifications you've made Rapid Dog! Those cooler screens set you back much? I think they give a good clean look.

I think I paid under $20 to that fella on e-bay.
Do a search here if you're interested. Some guys made their own.

ZAP!
Yep, had them drop it in when the warrantee work was done on the windshield.
Now I'll never have to worry about my bank of indicator lights, citizens band radio, or my electric gyro hot drink holder!

As far as the whip antenna... Iowa requires them on snowmobiles and mopeds. With a little plastic triangular pennant in International Orange. That's a good use.
![]() ps: just kidding!

It's not geritol, it's sensible. I can put all the barbacks and tall windshields I want on my S; I just rode my KTM dirtbike 90 miles in one stretch thru the cascades; AA rated ttails, from 2000-6500ft, mass swithbacks with hairy dropoffs on one side, real technical stuff....so I earned those barbacks honestly...

RT would be nice...but only room for one classic and one modern bike right now...kkids off to college you know...
I used the Suburban kit Jerry. Simple easy. I put it on in my Seattle apartment parking space with available tools after work one day... By the way, I got mine used-like-new. Only drawback is you'll drag your boots off the peg in a turn if you forget to toe-up...
