Lucas makes them and you can also find some at www.wunderlich.de and www.boxerdesign.de. Don't know if hey are lighter though but you can adjust the peg position for a more sportier posture. You can also try lsl and metisse.

Acid
If your looking to save weight on a track only bike........total loss electric..toss Alternator and put in smaller battery, of course non abs, lighter wheels, ect... if you don't need something take it off.

Hi Joe, yup i was thinking of calling you the other night, it was too late, the electyrical stuff weighs, no doubt, i remember your batter trick, what does the bike run off of, the battery?
or do you go to small alt or gen, not sure on this, yes i tihnk the BCR is gonna loss some weight, it is so much better than the loaded up SA for fun factor wheels yes, PVM not ordered yet rotors not sure what to do Ti rear spring saves about 5 lbs all the lights need to go looking for more, oh the what ever it is exhuast system will go for a laser full race Ti, what else? thought about the CF body work kinda pricey, would need the weight comparos

Skippy, man are these guys the bomb or what, they have everything i was thinking about, the head lightless front pices, tail piece, seat, tons of great stuff, they have all the goodies.
Have you ordered from them, are they reliable and on time? Are these decent prices? Joe what re you thinking for filling holes and removing large things like head light assys?

Sounds like your having fun there Acid. A total loss electrical would have no alternator, just run off the battery, then you would charge the battery between sessions. Less weight and less inertia to spin up. If you don't mind bump starting, you could ditch the starter as well.
If its a track only bike, how about a smaller, lighter fuel tank? Someone here has a CF telelever arm, thats got to save some weight. Also, the clip-ons are solid cast Alum, and on the heavy side, tubular ones would be nice. Oh, if you do get rid of the headlight assembly, and don't want it cluttering up the garage, I'm in need and would gladly take it off your hands. |

I've ordered a windscreen from these guys just this week so I will let you know if they are reliable. But other guys I know and lots of German S owners order there all the time so it should be good.I thought pricing was reasenable and compared to some dutch companies who sell S parts even good. The screen I ordered costs 69euro and over here there asking 119.They shure have a load of cool parts over there but also check www.wunderlich.de they also sell carbon kevlar reinforced bodywork wich looks realy good(but is probably still made by pack-parts only under different specs for wunderlich cause they do most of the cf parts that are sold you can tell by the simmelarity in the valvecovers and fenders). And if you want to order a lot of stuff from these guys you can try to negociate(spell wrong no doubt) on the price.
