well, let's see. Its commony agreed that one crashes on the average every 50k. I had 50k on the S before I hit oil. Then I had about 400 before I had my second crash on gravel.

The way, I see it.... I got them all out of the way and I should be crash free for the next 50k.

Ok, I concede that was funny. However, it would have to be while loading it into the back of the truck.

Maybe his bike is like the house the plane crashes into in "The World According to Garp." Now it's "predisastered." The odds of it happening again are "astronomical."

Really, I hope this is behind you, Shannon!

Bad karma to prognosticate on others' crashes.

there are two and only two kinds of riders:
those that have fallen.
those that will fall.
I don't snicker at the former, as the latter will someday be the former, and I've been there, done that, and don't want to wave the red flag at the karmic bull in any respect on this subject.
And when I biffed my GS1000S, I wrote off upwards of 10 grand worth of uninsured scoot....in 1982. Now THAT hurt the most tender part of my anatomy....my wallet.

Yea... I've got a nice juicy 10" scar on my calf from a compound tib/fib caused by a woman driver doing her make-up to remind me which one I am. I consider Nun really lucky he's just got a bum wing, that's why I feel obligated to poke fun. Plus I think he enjoys the comraderie.

Does tipping it over while sitting on it in the showroom count as a crash?
