Relays

I don't remember anyone here having relay problems. I grabbed this from another list. Just more info for trouble shooting.

" 97' R11RT- A few weeks ago, my bike would crank, but not start. When I turned on the ignition, the familiar sound of the fuel pump pressurizing was not there. Tom suggested the fuel pump relay. I swapped the horn relay, with the fuel pump relay, and the bike started right up. The familiar fuel pump energizing sound when the ignition is turned on also came back. I ordered a couple of relays, one to replace the dead one, and one to keep on the bike as a spare, and was good to go. I made sure I put the original horn relay back in the horn location, and put a brand new relay in the fuel pump spot. "
