Oil Temp Gauges

I didn't want to hijack the "Overheating" thread for this question. Is there a Oil temp gauge made for out S's? I would imagine there is.

There have been time (especially in the summer out here in Metro Denver) where there is a ton of stop and go in very not temps with reduced airflow through the engine. During these times I can feel the bike running hot. However there is no real way to tell if I should pull over and allowing her to cool off.

Just wondering if anyone has seen any mods for oil temp gauges.

Thanks,
Peakrunner

there is an aftermarket device that is nothing more than a ditial dsiplay with a wire lead to a replacement oil drain plug. It works for any model based on drain plug size.

Garage
I have started down this road - I purchased the oil temp sender that the RT/RS use, it fits right in the top of the motor, no groty waars hangin' all over the place.

Next step ( which I have not got to yet ) is to procure a guage ( round analog for me ), then calibrate the sender to the guage.

Then, waar itup. Gonna put it into one of the front turn signal binnicles.

Gotcher oil temp raaht-cheer, buddy.

Jeff,
when you get that done will you make one for me?
Is their a kill ratio or a blast perimeter involved?
How long will it take for its half-life to decay before its safe for organics to get close?
Hope things are well up north. How about lunch again soon.

Jeff, part numbers and details of your installation will be appreciated. Pictures would also be great.
