Some PowerCup footage

This is the entire 3:08 DVD loop that was given to the dealers. Diablo was kind enough to let me borrow theirs. This is from the first race, at LeMans...

www.gromitspapa.com/powercup.wmv

(It's 48 MB, so right-click it and "Save to Disk" before playing it)

www.motogp.com has a bunch of the races too... most all of the ones that were support races. You probably need a subscription though. If you're into MotoGP the site is pretty sweet, all the races are on demand.

Very cool.
Damn those things bauble around a lot on some of the transitions though. What are they running for suspension? Upgraded above stock or plain oem?

The Power Cup bikes run firmer WP suspension and the rear is one inch longer to improve cornering clearance and sharpen the steering.

Cheers

roger~
pleez get your terminology correct.
while on the track, they don't "bauble", they wallow, pitch, roll...flex, wiggle, squirm...etc.

when written about in the press release, or praised on the podium, the proper term is "dance".
...just wanna make sure you get it right, my friend.

kenny roberts podium interview after winning the mile on a tz750:
"So Kenny, how does that thing handle?"
"It's the hardest accelerating thing i've ever ridden."
"So....how does it handle?"
(pause): "It's the hardest accelerating thing i've ever ridden."

Boy those bikes look tall. And those front forks, is that how choppers began their lives? Guess with the motor leaned so far over they had to kick out the front tire for clearence. Guess thats why the wheelbase is measured in feet and not inches.

Maybe there should be an alternative download made available to the "pogo-stick" cup? Could make great viewing during chain-lube sessions?

Pogos are great. Tiny Wheelbase. Really Light. Made in China. Everything you could ever want!

Hi Trevor you may have an audio codec issue with your PCs setup if you are not getting sound. You may need to install a codec pack of some description.
