OT; if you could have any 3 bikes in the world, what would they be?

Since all the womenfolk in this house took over the Big Tube, and one male in a house full of wine-drinkin' women is throwing a dog in a bear pit, I'm 'wasting' time here

If you could have any three two-wheeled dead dinsoar-consuming devices, what would the be. (streetbike)

mine:
C&J-framed TZ750 (OW31 replica) Yamaha....forever 'the one'.
MTT technology Y2K turbinecycle...not turbo, TURBINE!!!!!
Geeenuuuuine XR750 Harley streettracker..MY idea of what a Harley REALLY is, or should be.

Tough call. Here's a few off my short list:

Steve McLaughlin's 1976 BMW R90S AMA Superbike
1957 Moto Guzzi V8
Britten V-1000

Garage
1st, Britten

2nd, BMW R1150GS ADV

3rd, 1938 Indian Four

Definately the Britten is at the top of the list. Wish I'd have thought of it first. As for the Beemer; yes, really. I think that it is a genuine do almost anything, almost anywhere at almost anytime type of bike! Needs a better seat though. The Indian would be something for nice summer evenings. I had one once but couldn't afford to restore it ($10,000 for the motor alone, $42,000 total).

I don't think I'll be able to realise ownership of a Britten, but I just bought one of these http://www.britten.co.nz/shop/model.html

Vincent Black Lightning

MV Agusta F4 1000

steve, those choices are tough to argue with. i'd go the same, except maybe to swap out a touring bike for the norton or vincent. afterall, you need one bike to ride!

C'mon 3 bikes is way to little you are driving me mad and I don't know what to choose. But right now I would go for the following 3 and will trade the KTM Superduke 990 in for A Harley Davidson Road King Classic when I get old(er) with at least a 1550 conversion and some steel braided brakelines.

1:BMW R1150GS Adventure(latest bleu eand white end of range one with all the goodies).
2:BMW R1100S(Don't mind what color but tricked out to the max)
3:KTM 990 Superduke(in black please and it's good straight out of the box).

and when I'm old(er).

Yes 10 would be better.
For all here I will say the R1100S is assumed so that gives three other...categories, you pick the bike.
Two Stroke Road Bike - RZ350/RZ500/RG500/RG250
Four Stroke DS - KTM 950 Adventure/R1150GS Adventure/RXC640
Four Stroke Road - Pre-Unit, Swingarm Triumph/Bimota KB1/OW01 Yamaha

05 BCR with bag mounts and city bags, all mods and custom wheels. full custom motor.
my 02Sa and 04 BCR is close enough on the custom side good for now.

05 R1200Rt, custom suspension, laser exhuast and chip
my 04 Rt is close enough, good for now.

05 duc 9r, (is it fare if i actually have one)?

The other unlisted bikes i have will fill in the gaps and round things out a bit.
See all that old junk at every show, all talk and look, no go, not for me, they can all be had.
