BMW Roundel Fancy-arse Kustom Billet Torque Arms Here!!!

O.K., some have axed, so I'll throw this out.

Oscar the CNC guy has gotten all ambitious all of a sudden (he's been walking around mumbling something about speedboats and bikinis...).

I bought a used billet torque arm from a member here.
It's a very nice BTA too...props from Oscar on the machine work done by, I believe, Brian Kirnan according to the source.

Oskie sez, he wants to make some, so he just sent me this pick...

...sez he'll do 3 lengths, long/ in-between/and GS.

Yeah, I know, more pig iron from Rapid...pro'lly $225 a chunk.

Does look nice! Too bad I've already put SJ billet piece on my bike or I would be up for one.

Can we get custom ones? I want it to have my name cut into it, instead of random holes

so if I send youse guyz an emachines-type cad file can you cut parts with just the file to go on? What format do you need (autocad r12 DXF, etc)
I want some nice billet ends for my vanderlinde exhaust stubs (maybe with little red leds in the ends like the fast-n-furious krowd has)

answer man

Anton...we're figurin' appx 488 grams for the short one.

Jony, you don't need no mo' bling...but if you gotta have it we'll look at your .dxf or whatever and give you the "special" price, heh hehe...

You know this kustom stuff is spedy, because 'sides the machining, the tooling has to be programmed...

Thats like ordering a supersize meal and getting a diet Coke!

I do think some lettering would look cool instead of the holes. JMHO, something different from the others!

RoLoo, where'd you get yours?
After looking at some of these, we're going to try and trim some of the fat...
Flattbutt, dude, sorry, we haven't given up, just real bus here.
I have to light a fire under the "O's" butt on that one too.
After MotoGP I'm going to ttry and get some of these back burner deals done.

I want a GS (the shortest) length one. Ever since I got the bike I have been thinking that standard stamped dealio has got to go.

Rapid, let us know if a group buy is in the future...or if we should just pony up now, and thanks for the post.

Just to enlighten me.

What is the advantage over stock?

Why offer it in different lengths?
