Question Changed front tire

Well, thanks to a good buddy (ie very patient) I changed 4 tires this weekend...3 by myself! Coats tire machine...very easy to use.

A question: after remounting the front wheel on the S, the first time I pulled the brake lever it was really soft, but built up resistence w/ two or three good pulls. Is that normal? I was very careful w/the calipers, and zip tied them to the mounting brackets whilst the wheel was off.

Oh yeah, and static balancing really shows you how OCD you are....

yes, absolutely normal. watch the pit crew careful at the next daytona 200. they pump the front brake like mad after the tire is installed and before the rider pulls out away from them. you're simply reseating the calipers and building pressure in the system.

Yes, totally normal.
You can really scare yourself if you don't pre/reseat the pistons/pads.
