New BoxerCup Replica

In looking at the new BoxerCup Apperal a few threads down, got my thinking about the "04" Replica release again... I was wondering if they will be releasing it at Daytona, sometime around the BoxerCup race?

Maybe wishful thinking..
Matt

The heck with the mirrors, the older paint job was far better.

I like the newer style. I think the paint accents the lines of the bike much better!

The new one didn't even match the rim color??? Looks like you had to replace the rear and didn't have the $$$$$$$ for the blue one

The mirrors can still be fitted to the fairing just pop 2 carbon plugs that mask the mountings. The shock is a stock sports shoch with the yellow spring.

magnetic personality? does it come in "pepsi-free"?

ick!

i'm glad i bought the '04 model.
the new one looks like they magnetized the frame and hurled it down the parts aisles at BMW.

mis-matched wheels, stickers installed by someone with a crick in his neck (are we supposed to turn our heads sideways to read 'em?)
.....and apparently the bike missed the "good" mirror aisle because it has the weak-suck units on it.

still no rear fender....and hey....where's the cat converter can? and that whole rear footpeg silliness?

and i see they're still putting make believe suspension on it.

the bike is obviously a pre-production unit, but even still...what were they thinking?

i feel so much better now that i've seen the '05. it makes owning the '04 that much nicer! VERY glad i didn't wait!

hopefully they'll slap the design/paint crew up side of the head before they release the next rev of the Boxer Cup with the new engine. On the '05 version, all you have to do is change the words "Boxer Cup", to the word "Pepsi" to finish off the "bold new graphics" look. sheesh!

...brad

I would like to see the new paint work in the flesh before I make up my mind. From the above pics, I prefer the older paint scheme.

Cheers

Cool New BCR

I think this new paint scheme will help the re-sale value of my "series 1" BCR.
