Anyone got the Works Performance shocks w/eiboch springs?
Hear plenty of good about the Ohlins, but wondering about the Works. David at Works made his product sound pretty good to my suspension ignorant brain.
Any proof out there? |

Hi Dave,
I think if you'd sort through some of the shocks and Öhlins threads, you'd find a fair bit of info on Works as well. I've personally not used any of their mono-shocks, but have had very good experiences with some custom twin shocks they've whipped up for me. The advantage they offer is that they're custom calibrated for your bike, weight, riding style, and personal preferences in general. I don't like them quite as well as roughly equivalent Öhlins units, but they are quite good, and a fair amount cheaper. A few friends have them on late model monoshock airheads, and seem very pleased. Probably the best replacement if you're on a budget. regards roger |

I had used a Works Performance shock on my K75S for at least 5 or 6 years. I was very happy with it, especially liked the fact that Works would rebuild it for about $35.00.
I had also used Works products on a KTM and was happy with the results. I am also interested in replacing the shocks on my R100S and am considering Works Performance, since they are quite a bit cheaper than Ohlins. |
