You can make one yourself out of gutter screen found at most hardware stores. I bought a 6" x 36" for $1.79 at The Home Depot. If you want the template and installation instructions, drop me and email and I'll send you the PDF file.

Thanks Neil,
I have had a look but the mesh is not as large (hole wise) as I had. And being picky I wanted the same product again. Cheers, Andrew.

oil cooler screens
I think Hornig of Germany (who make or market BMW cycle accessories) do them.
The link: http://hornig.i-netsolutions.de/?page=produkte&artgrp=4&artsubgrp=82 Watch out for the postage/freight costs though. fiery Last edited by fiery; 08-11-2005 at 01:56 PM.. |

Hi Fiery,
Thanks for the link it was most helpful. You are right about the postage it is a bit steep. Andrew.

Phil's email address changed recently but he doesn't have anymore of the screens. He says to look on the German Ebay & you will find the same screen.

Cheers John,
I will look on Ebay, also the site Fiery sent was good. How is the Futura going, I am looking at a Mille today as a second bike. Had an accident on mine last month, van pulled out in front of me. My bike is being repaired now thought it might have been a write of. Cheers, Andrew.

The Futura is doing fine, 22,000 miles & no major problems. It hasn't seen much use this summer as I've been riding my R75/5 to most events & doing alot of bicycling.
