Update on Midland meet
I've been in contact will Carol Patzer who is in charge of scheduling events at the MOA National. She assures me she has a spot for us and is putting the final details on the schedule.
In the meantime, other than exchanging ideas and checking out each others modifications, is there something else owners might like? For instance, would someone like to find a speaker on tuning tips for the "S"? Or find vendors who might offer "S" owners a "show special." Mike |

you mean other than send an "average rider" out for the r1100s vs. k1200rs shootout (some guy named pridmore, i think)?
vendor and mod. reps sound like good things, esp. tuners who have experience with oilheads. it'd be especially smooth if some artsy-type one of us could wrench up a patch for the event, so's we don't look like a bunch-o amateurs to the K guys ("not only are they missing 2 cylinders, they don't even have PATCHES!") peace, buford |

Hey ! What a great idea!! patches for all of us. But, How about making patches not only for the meeting, but one for ALL of us S owners that chat on the Pelican BB ??
In that way, those that cannot attend to the meeting, can also get the patch/(or decal??) later? We can make nice designs, post it on the net, and vote for the best of the designs. ------------------ |

I haven't heard anything about this in a while. Has anyone designed a patch or have an idea for one?
Do we know anything else about what is going on? I can't wait to go to the rally, myself. ![]() Zachary |

Zachary,
I've been in contact with Carol several times about finding a time for us "S" owners. No schedule has been posted for any events at Midland. In fairness, she says it has been a "nightmare." I'll post to the list as soon as I hear something. |

Oilheadsup boys,
If anybody's interested, my parnter and I are planning this killer rally trip. On the 13th we are heading to Manitowoc to board the ferry-boat, ferry to Ludington Mi, then heading North around the perimeter of the state and finishing up in Midland on Saturday. Of course the trip only makes sense if your Eastbound. E-mail me if you'd like to join us. EASTBAG |

We need a patch for the rally. If no one has started working on it, I'm going to have a graphic artist design one. I want everyone to reply who would be interested in having a R11S Midland Rally patch so I know what are budget is. The more people that want one, the better as the cost will be distributed more. Let me know now so I can have someone get going on this.
Thanks, Zachary |

The "Schedule of Seminars" for Midland has been posted to MOA's website. However the "Schedule of Events," which would include an "S" riders meeting, has not yet been posted.
