Someone recently asked how to remove DB killers. This is what I use to get them out of my Staintune cans.
Some threaded rod I had sitting around, nuts, 2 different sized washers, and a Rain Bird valve key. Any slide pipe can be used, of course. Just a good rap or three, and out she pops. No marring 'n scratching of anything visible.
Remove allen set-screws or welds first. ;)

I used this tool only once to A/B the sound difference. I prefer the "quieter" sound of them being inserted.
