tank capacity
I have just ordered an 2001 R1100S with Vandelinde exhaust, chip and their big valve head conversion ?? supposed to up the ante to 120hp?? Now worried that having other BMWS K1200LT,R1150GS and used to 100mph cruising and 200 mile refills that the S will drain the tank in 100 miles or so.The Das Boxer endurance team use a 21l tank which involves a bit of plastics mods.Does anybody have any experience of this or is it a one off race fabricated tank?
The shortened paralever seems a good idea as the steering on the demo seemed a bit slow after my GS. ------------------ |

There is a guy from Oz that I have spoke to over the net regarding a tank mod on non-ABS models, he now has a 24lt capacity.
