I know that I can "disable" the ABS on my S by starting it immediately after turning on the key; the ABS lights continue to blink. The brakes clearly become "manually" operated and not under ABS control.
My questions are: 1. Are there any problems by doing this and riding for extended periods of time...Motronic faults, ABS problems when reactivated after an extended period of time or ??? 2. Is there any way to stop the blinking lights other than removing the bulbs or some other unmentionable thing; a certain fuse or ??? |

I've seen more than a couple bikes with the blinking lights covered over with black tape.
![]() No it wasn't me, mine is ABS free. |
