If I bought a Buell, would I automatically hang out in the service department?

If I bought a Buell that is much better than an R11S, would I get to ride it in between shop visits?

No, you wouldn't, 'cause 19 out of 20 Buell service departments suck.
The best thing to do is buy a big bag of tools.

Hah! If you owned a Buell you would own the only bike on the market that's a bigger piece of **** than an R11S!

SuedePatches 06-26-2001 01:19 PM

All of you are worthless cretins. The refinement of the BMW is the pinnacle of the teutonic art form known as the well engineered machine.

If you have any doubts please assault your nearest interstate (at the speed limit of course) and then ask yourself again "Which machine is perfect for doing the speed limit for hours on end?" I dare say the BMW would answer your question.

If it does not your tastes are too plebian to appreciate the finest cycle made.

ErricZ 06-26-2001 01:22 PM

True, Cecil, we already have the biggest piece of **** on here ... you.

tvrla 06-26-2001 01:28 PM

Hey Cecil. Are you too ashamed of your personal interests, etc, to fill out your profile? Get a life, man!

Probably. Most of you guys don't know which end of a wrench goes where.

Myself, I can work on my own bike. http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif

Well duh. Of COURSE you can work on your own bike. You DID make it home from the Buell dealer, after all..

I find that more BMW riders do their own work than othger brand owners I know.
The R1100S is great to work on (maintenance) since everything is accessible and there arent many fairings to remove.

bigj 06-26-2001 08:22 PM

I know that's a lie. Almost ALL Buell owners work on thier bikes after a while. They can't afford labor after buying all the parts!

If you hang around the Buell Service Dept too long, someone will come out and kick your whiny ass out in the street where you belong. Get a life JAS.

peterboxer 06-26-2001 11:47 PM

if you buy a buell does it come with a big magnet behind the rear wheel ?

Malc 06-27-2001 02:11 AM

I've owned the S for 14 months. Before that I owned a Buell for 14 months. The S has spent two weeks in the dealer with shaft probs, has corroded, warped disks etc. Never had any problems with the Buell apart from a very uncomfortable seat. The Buell handles as well as the S, sounds better, looks better and is more amusing to ride. Vibration is about equal.

"Waaaah! Waaaaaaaah! Someone is picking on my Buell! WAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Roofles. I think the "get a life" comment could pretty well apply to all the obnoxious Buell posters too. Not that ALL the Buell posters here are obnoxious, but most (like you) are just spewing useless drivel.

Hugs and Kisses,

Hiya, its me! I'm a Bueller too. But I'm not one of those crude ones like what have been posting here, me, I'm got class.

I ride a Suzuki Haybusa down to the Ser. Dept. to occasionally check on how my Buell is comming along.

I'm just glad to be here.

My riding partner has a Beemer, a 1150 GS, incredible bike. He asked me to log on and get some tech. info about his bike. Is this the right forum?

He wants mo power and better sound.

Cecil is very disturbed.

Paul

Hey Snail, it *was* the place...no seriously -- you came to the right place, there just seems to be a minor insurection right now of Buell owners (Oh yeah, my helmet says "Buell" does that count? http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/wink.gif).

Just ask any questions you might have, let's all stay on topic and ride our arses off...they'll go away like any heckler does when he sees he is not pulling your strings anymore.

Is it true that the seat on a BMW can be considered a headrest, since many BeeMerWeenie owners have their heads up their ass?

turnerm 06-27-2001 06:24 AM

Why dont the Buel lovers go and start a Yahoo club. Then they can bash each other and BMW owners all they want.
This used to be a productive BBS.

Romain 06-27-2001 06:57 AM

Looks like the Buellers have a lot of free non-riding time. Is that due to regular break-downs, or are they just searching for competent tech advice from these BMW "heads-up-there-arses"? Looks like we got something they don't have but are desperately looking for. hehe
