lennie,
how are the new brakes? i'd like to talk to you about the caliper offset mounts you had to have machines for this. how did it all work out? i am thinking about doing the same but with 320mm rotors. i'd love to see pics of the arrangement. jonathan |

Jonathon,
I have made the Tokico to 330mm adapters but did not get the discs back from the grinders in time for the ride day yesterday. I am also making adapters for the following, Tokico to 320mm Brembo to 320mm Brembo to 330mm I am also developing 320mm and 330mm performance rotors as well with the necessary braided hose to suit. The hoses are longer from the T piece to the calipers. To answer your previous question about 'Why 330mm'. It is because that is about the maximum you can run while still being able to fit the Tokico and stock Brembo calipers. If you change from 305mm there would be a greater benefit going to 330mm with the Brembo calipers for the same cost. The total difference in weight from stock discs and rotors to Tokico 6 pistons, 330mm rotors and the adapters is about 1.2kg or 2.7lbs. I know this goes against what you think about unsprung weight and I agree with you, but I think the benefit will outweight this with adjustments to the suspension. On an outright race application I would do exactly what you are with lightweight wheels, aluminium 6 pistons calipers to reduce unsprung and rolling mass. The adapters for the 320mm and 330mm rotors can obviously still be used for the Harrison calipers you use. Regards, Lennie |

len,
i would love to see a set of the 320mm adapters. i can have them redone in magnesium at a friends shop in california if you're willing to send specs. this way I can use my now ordered wave rotors! (320's). or if you prefer I can just buy a set from you. how much are the 320 adapters going to be? jpf |
