OT/RT Ohlins and Öhlins unique "EC"concept Electronic Controlled Shocks
Has anyone got any info on the" Öhlins unique "EC"concept Electronic Controlled Shocks" and how one would go about getting these.
The info is vague at best, even on the official Ohlins sight. It says that in 2004 the first BMW availabilty was the KRS, but that's all I can find. I want this for my sooper R1150RT.... ![]()

Try calling Jim at Pro Pilot @ (732) 928-7800 in NJ. He's a sooper guy, and discounts those puppies, Doggie...

I would call Ohlins usa and get it straight from them 800-336-9029
What I really would do is safe the money for the Ohlins (probably 2K) and get a ESA-R1200RT.Those things are soo much faster than the R1150RT's (as fast as our 1100S) and the handling is better too...Maybe in 20 years I'm ready for a RT,too...;-) Chris |

ESA is so much of a marketing gimmick for people that ride solo as two-up that in a few years probably 90% of the better sport-touring bikes have ESA an ABS stock...
And Rapid I know it is easier $$$aid than done...;-) Chris, trying to be helpful as always... |
