semi OT: ouch. no, really.

A bit unusual for the biker to be the cause of death rather than the car driver, but at least the police in Sweden try to make a learning experience out of it rather than just tar and feather all bikers. horrible all the same. |

My initial reaction is fake. Might be true, but it just doesn't smell right to me. The rear tyre looks like it's never seen tarmac, the rear of the bike also appears to be untouched, which if the guy was genuinely doing 155 and flipped the car seems nothing short of miraculous. IS it a RVF or VFR 400 ?? and if so, can you get 155 out of them ? I doubt it.
Perhaps I'm just a cynic

yeah, I thought so too, it's a bit too clean. But the site below has a photo, presumably from the scene, of the car upsidedown with the spreaders still on the door and little pools of blood. According to some other sites the cops cleaned up all the blood and 'reassembled' the crash so they could put it on display. Sweeds are a tidy lot. A little bit of stench and gore would have gone a long way towards driving the point home though.
