I don't think BMW would like this, but I have noticed that the pricing of parts varies greatly from country to country. For example valve cover in Aust $55.00 US. This is a small part and probably could be shipped cheaply. Maybe members could offer fellow members a service to buy and ship some of this stuff if the advantage is good enough. . I don’t think too much would be shipped from the states at the moment, but some of the other countries might give significant cost savings..

Bails,
How much is said valve cover in US? Australian RRP is ~A$125 (~US$66). Where in Australia are they available for US$55 (A$104)? (I need a set). In Germany they are DM140 (A$120). By the time you get it, cost of postage and hassle is not worth it for the theoretical saving. Which is why I think the prices are so cleverly set. ------------------ Cheers, Al, Australia. I was quoted $110.00 Aus , from City Coast Wollongong. I noted some one on the board said Us price $120.00 If this is the case then the savings are real ? may be the differences aren't that great but if they are then it would be a benefit , after all the Bike in Oz is way cheaper than the same bike in the US, get what the market will pay ?
