Problem with right turn signal

Last weekend I had the dealer fix a problem with my taillight. They disassembled the rear end and found a shorted out wire.

Well, today I realized that my right turn signals are not functioning properly. When I first noticed it, it was quite bright out, so I assumed they were not functioning. I immediately thought of a blown fuse.

It turns out that they are functioning, but very strangely. When I turn them on, they will blink very dimly and each subsequent blink gets dimmer and dimmer (I can usually only see 2 blinks). The behavior is similar to when your car's battery is almost dead and you're trying to star the car. Both the front and rear turn signals as well as the turn indicator follow this same pattern.

Any ideas? It sounds like something I don't want to touch. I'm just fishing for some possible ideas before I bring it back to the dealer.

Sounds to me just like the issue I had for over a year and 20,000 miles. Do a search on Indicators for my previous posts and my answers to your possible problem!!

This same exact problem with the right turn signals started for me tonight. Do you recall what the problem and solution was? Thanks!

I opened the right rear signal and found a wire had been chaffed against the metal piece that the bulb sits in. I taped it up real good and all is well again.
