The local 'guzzi dealer is in the process of building a kit powered by a K-bike engine that looks remarkably similar to this vehicle. Maybe I can snap a couple pics this weekend.

Mercedes has one, too. Saw it on the History Channel last night.

Yippie-skippie, hoo-hah. Morphodite by any other name looks as goofy.

TM 1100 S I think your talking about one of these cars by Grinnall witch are realy cool and use k bike series motors.I've seen a couple in the flesh and I would love one if they wheren't so low and invisible to the other road users like truck drivers.Love the VW design though and it would be the best compromise between a car and a bike for me personally.

The VW is classified as a motorcycle. So, you need a bike license, and helmet to ride/drive it!

What's with 3 wheels and the germans?
BMW did the Isetta too.

Skippy, I think you're right and it does have a K-bike engine in it right now. I was short on time at the dealer that day but should have gotten more info. I'll make it a point to get a pic in the next couple of days.

The new Pelican is here: Everywhere!

I really hope VW brings this thing to market. It looks like a hoot!
