I see that BoxercupNowell, aka I-sell-crap-to-dummies-for-big-dollars is back with more of his marketing.
Uses this forum for more exposure than he figures he'll get in the Parts for Sale section.
What else is new w/this guy? What a bore!

ckcarr: "So. That's your company and you are soliciting here and thought you'd get some feedback or customers and did not like the response, or am I missing something? You are on your post #2

Here is my feedback. It is OK looking, possibly functional but $35 plus $7 shipping is too much for a tiny part that can be fabricated by anyone here. I got more purchase satisfaction out of my $12 Hanes Wheel caps - shipped from Australia.

Also ads like that should be in the parts section."

BoxercupNowell: "ckcarr, Point taken, thanks!"

motoyoyo: "BcupNowell, took a look at your fender eliminator kit for $109 that has no license plate light and a couple pep-boys reflector bolts. That finally inspired me to order the Stealth bracket from R1100S Goodies for $67 that includes an led light with wiring and no cheesy reflector bolts. I used to think this part was expensive, now it seems like a real bargain.
I can't wait to get it, thanks for the inspiration."

So what is wrong with offering my personal GPS for sale here?

Yeah I can see where selling my brand new GPS and mount, that is still in the box, that by the way retails for twice as much as I am asking for it, is some how selling-crap-to-dummies-for-big-dollars, your an ASS, GET A LIFE.....come to think of it I really don't care what you think.

Hey DON "AKA ASS" I like how you only mention the time(s) I sold something on this forum, but you don't mention the motorcycle ride I put together for fellow BMW riders, that several members from this forum participated in and or any other useful information I might have posted here.

Mr BMW 03-03-2006 05:41 AM

EXAMPLE: Here is a picture from the ride I had, with several members from this forum attending

Can't we just get along? I left TruimphRat.net because of this stuff.

JerryTreeXprt 03-03-2006 07:27 PM

I think that rather than leave, you would've been better off with one of these:http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/dom.gif

X-Triple 03-04-2006 12:51 AM

The letter "e" .

SergioK 03-04-2006 04:24 AM

This is a funny thread. :D

ckcarr 03-04-2006 05:07 AM

Is anyone interested in this bumper jack?

I found it also for sale by the thread starter. I think it's a bargain for lifting the front wheel up for servicing, as was discussed in a different thread. :)

Not so. You can get the unit for just about what you're trying to sell it for all over the internet. Then you're caught and resort to personal attacks on Don.

AMAZON.COM HAS THE UNIT NEW FOR:

List Price: $349.99
Price: $219.90
You Save: $130.09 (37%)

Availability: Usually ships in 1-2 business days.

A DELUSIONAL VIEW OF THE RETAIL MARKET. LIKE LISTING ON EBAY FOR A STARTING BID OF $185 AND BUY NOW FOR $200. (A lesson in how not to sell your product in the ebay marketplace).

GOOD LUCK!

Perhaps he should have sold a Garmin e-trek!

gigantic 03-04-2006 02:13 PM

As i recall from his previous for sale threads, Mr Nowell has rather unrealistic and lofty expectations re. the value of the stuff he tries to sell. is he a rip-off artist, or just a kid who want's top dollar for his stuff? I dunno. that said, expecting retail prices for used gear seems a little crass & i'd say goes against the spirit of collegiality of the board, where the majority of us horse trade to help each other out and give/get better deals on gear than we might find elsewhere. asking top dollar for second rate stuff isn't likely to make you many friends with this crowd, and will likely get you flamed, as which has happened. however, as Papa Ramjet has pointed out, time and time again, name-calling is a big no-no. please retract those comments, mr. bmw.
now kids, let's play nice SmileWavy
cheers,
Big Uncle Lance

X-Triple 03-04-2006 03:00 PM

Ya Flatbutt, you made me feel uncomfortable. I almost had to use my e-foot again!?

You summed that up rather nicely. Horse trading... Yes. Try something, don't like it, unload it.

This is not a retail strip mall.

Highlander179 03-05-2006 09:22 PM

what do you expect from a car-salesman?

"what's the price on this Lexus you ask, hold on while I go mark it up"
