MotoGP spoiled here
Last 2 laps from Assen. Great battle; looked like Nicky and Colin wanted to win so much they got quite reckless.

Was a great race, one of the most exciting finishes in a good while. Don't know if I would describe them as reckless, they both really wanted the win. I think Colin was a little rattled when Nicky went by with so little time left and lost his composure. I heard Nicky say in the interview that Colin was so smooth, he had think of something new to get around him, and he found it in the chicane.

When I saw Colin's bike step-out I thought "where's the traction control?" Apparantly it doesn't work on grass

Nick said he knew that last move wouldn't work anyway, then he went off course from mistakenly shifting into neutral. Meanwhile, Colin was running so deep in order to block Nick's outside line he blew the turn himself.

I was rooting for Nicky but I was also rooting to see the US go 1-2. I felt sick when Colin wrecked. It was a shame after the flawless race he ran. Nicky's looking good for the championship now, it's time to root for Colin to get a win.

Yeah that was a realy great finish. I used to be a big fan of Colin when he rode the Honda superbikes but when he went Moto GP he never realy impressed me as mutch as he did when he was riding superbikes(still the race where he took the championship in front of all the Ducs is my all time favorit race and I wish I could get that complete race on a dvd). Last race did bring back some memories of that race though so maybe things are starting to look up for Colin. Shame he blew it on the last corner.

Yeah I know Highlander but the only dvd's I came across where by Duke and they don't feature the full race as I understand it.
