Unhappy Ebay Ssssss

I'm not saying I'm just saying... think the clutch is slipping?

This bike seemed to be a good deal until I looked closer.
Looks to me like the rear seal is leaking in this picture. I had the seal nightmare a while ago. That clutch is slinging oil all over the bell housing, look for the seepage at the rear of the engine.

Buyer watch out! It is a pretty nice package though, Ohlins, intake and exhaust. Just be ready for a clutch job and seal replacement.

That could be grease from the input splines migrating south.BMW has a nasty habit of choosing low drop point grease in high heat-stress areas. The drop point is the temp required to make that thick grease basically melt like butter.Judging by the photo, the deposit is thick, very concentrated, unlike oil. What you are seeing is the posibility of spline failure in the future unless relubed

You could just ask him.

He's a long time poster here and the bike is in the for sale section.

It could also be from the input shaft seal on the transmission.
Had mine replaced under warranty.
