Nate the Gr8 at Barber Aug 11-13th

Hey gang, let's get a head count going for possible attendance for any spectators at the Barber race to cheer on Nate. We, BMW Motorcycles of Atlanta, will be doing tech support but we could always use more cheerleaders(the thought of any of you in skirts initiates a gag response, hehe). Also we are planning to have a make shift hospitality tent/trailer with food, beverage, shade and AC for BMW riders only!! If you ride there, bring some proof of BMW ownership or find me and we will do what we can for you.

Look forward to seeing some of youze guys down in B'Ham August 11, 12 and 13th.

Thanks for the invite...

Hi BMW Atlanta,

I've not been to Barber yet...all my riding buds rave about it...gotta get down there soon.

I've got one more week of vacation to use for a riding trip. I have a Colorado/Utah/Arizona trip all laid out departing from Central Illinois but so far none of my local buds can go.

Maybe I'll ride to Barber instead and cheer N8 to another great BMW Win! What a GUY!...What a Bike!...WHODATHUNKIT! The "S" is the best kept secret in motorcycling!

Barber is a jewel for racing, and if you ever get the chance to see the museum, it is more than worth it. 700+ bikes and what a great display.
Too bad Birmingham politics hosed the Moto GP effort. The city wanted Barber ( now a foundation) to pay the police overtime when the event would bring in 200,000 people for a week, more than enough in tax revenues, etc. to cover the cost.
