O2 sensor removal

Anyone know what size plug to use and where to get one? I want to remove mine for awhile. I just installed a San Jose Duct kit.

Thanks Lance

rumor has it that JonyRR is using a spark plug... something he learned in the 50's when doing flame throwing contests

has plugs to fill the hole... scroll down. $8

Why not use the O2 sensor to plug the hole, it screws right in, no need to plug it in.

Leaving it in will just soot it up and kill it. Taking it out will be less of a restiction in the exhaust and I will gain 10 H.P. (G).

wswartzwel thanks for the info.

K&N makes a special bolt just for this...also the car accessories folks like holley or something. try a local car spped shop, and you do NOT want to leave the 02 sensor in but unplugged, as you will ruin it, as has been pointed out.
Bill, I run the K&N plug when the 02 sensor is out.

Is there anything to be gained by disconnecting the O2 sensor on a bike with standard air filter, but no catalytic converter?

Might be a good thing to do. This is one person's tests about what happens to A/F ratio with the sensor removed. But there's newer information about the PC III on a thread in the BMWforums.

my original tune setup worked great before I went to a PCIII (the pc is there baecause I intend to do MAJOR mods, like a 1200C crankshaft, 1136 cylinders, massive headwork and different cams)

try this setup:
do a 0=0 TPS dialin as described in the lentini/dr. curve PDF (it's around here somewhere)
yank the 02 sensor.
yank the CCP (Cat code plug)
NGK BKR7EA plugs (honda cycle part#)
that setup is cheap, reverseable and I found it to make my scoot run mucho better.
this is for an early model single spark machine.
on a twinspark, I have no idea, as I don't own an OEM twinspark.
