Positive experience with EBC "HH" Pads

I mounted a new set of EBC "HH" Brake Pads (FA246HH) to the front on Saturday...went riding Sunday and gotta say "Powerful" and "Easy to Modulate". It's as if I put Steel Braided Brake lines on...well nearly so.

It confirms the testing results I'd read in a Motorrad Magazin Brake Pad Comparo a few months ago.

I too put them on earlier this summer and think they're great, too.

yup. I did the same last year, wonderfull. I wish I could get either the vesra RJL's or SBS Dual Carbons that I use on my racebike, that'd be even better, but prolly useless for the street.

Did ya keep the stock pads on the rear or put the corresponding FA363HH pads on the rear as well? I figure it would be better to upgrade both at the same time.

I kept the stock rear. I barely use the rear and when I do, I prefer that it doesn't lock up...

Hi SergioK,

I had some problems with the rear brake last year. The original Pads were getting close to wear-out...this obviously caused the Slave Pistons to be extended further out of the Caliper...the Piston surface would get dry or something and not want to slide back in...this resulted in allot of brake drag and a very hot rear disc on a few occasions.

I replaced the Rear OEM Pads with EBC "HH" Pads and haven't had a rear brake drag problem since. I waited changing out the front set because I wanted to get my moneys worth before changing them over to the EBC Pads.

And yes, I did get the FA363HH P/N...I also flushed out the old Brake/Clutch Fluid using a Mity-Vac.
