Brembo brake pad replacement on '99

Hey guys,

Trying to swap out pads. I've removed the little pin that keeps the main pin from rotating.

I hit the main pin up with a flatblade and all it does is spin. Without threading. Did the last owner possibly f up the threads with over-tightening? Am I doing this right? They should jsut unthread, right? It's like they're overspun, but I can't tell.

Your close Sideshow_S but not quite there...I assume you're talking about the Front Calipers?

The pins are not threaded...the blade hole is used to rotate it into position for easy clip install.

I re-bolted the Caliper to the Fork and then used a small punch to drive the pin out from the other side...be sure to put a very light coat of Anti-Seize compound on the pin before re-assembly.
