Now we're talking and this looks official from the Ohlins rear hydraulic shock to the extra oil cooler in front to keep the extra ponies cool

Passenger pegs are a dealer installed "accessory" and available. Bags are available from Hepco Becker or Touratech with the HB mounts from Wunderlich,...Chris,...er repoe

I know you are, I'm just playing along.

Seriously though, havent seen the stats yet, but if the Megamoto come with 122hp, then consider my R11S as good as gone come next summer. This will be my new track tool and the HP2 will be resigned to dual sport rock bashing duty.

yeah...honestly, the tuono is overkill for commuting, this would be at least that much in the overkill department...that 650 supermoto looks just right.

on a side note, there is a fellow on the ADVrider board that is getting his right ankle fused. he is asking about a thumb-operated brake. i mentioned you having done it on the S...if you feel so inclined, maybe you could lend him some info.

Don't like the first bike at all. Looks like a rebadged Aprilla to me and it has chain drive and regular forks. Next thing you know there will be no heated grips on the options list and it will have regular switch gear to opperate the turnsignals. So basicly you will get an ordinary bike with no added value compared to other makers with a higher price tag and probably less hp then the japanese boys out out. May be a market for it but I'm not buying.

pffft... USD forks, and especially if they are adjustable, are in no way "regular".

i like the added sarcasm...funny how we rationalize our beemer purchase(s) some how, yet want a "regualr" flavor to eat as well. and i aint complaining one bit...htye just need to be competitively priced or they sales will suffer. i understand the value of an extended warranty, but perhaps make that optional as well.
