Please let Freddie know it was the best thing I have ever done to enhance my career. WORTH EVERY PENNY he charges for the 3 day Pro school. period.

Freddie brings more than just "ooh ahh, look at him ride..." Complete and total articulation that is instnatly applied and gratification personally for any level rider that goes through his course.

CONSISTANLTY, lap after lap, each track I have raced after taking his school TWO SECONDS per lap. All via comprehension of centers of gravity and minimizing lean angle. I know it sounds funny after you see myself, Brian, and otehrs go around a track at pace, but the side wall is used for turning not braking or accelerating!

I went to the school with the mind set that I was a first time trackday guy and completely open minded.

Great choice Exarkunone!

You can usually if not always learn from a person that has more skill and knowledge than you. Freddy Spencer is a class act. Thanks for your input Nate.

+1 . . . and a great endorsement. I did Level I at Miller in Sept and it was awesome and plan to do the Pro School at Vegas in December. Not sure I will ever ride like N8, but its better money spent than any bike mod by far!

...I would not doubt for a second that is the best thing you can do for yourself, if you are hunting for time... it WILL definitely make you a considerably better rider!

...the problem I have with it, is the price tag... a bit out of range for the "normal" guy, I think.

If I was still racing, trying to get faster (without throwing the bike away in the process!)... I'd be doing it in a heartbeat...

More power to you and I hope you are going to have a blast!

I was actually surprised at the amount of time in Level I spent on street riding techniques. It's all about being a smoother, safer, more confident rider. I have been riding motorcycles for over 30 years, just dabbling with club racing off and on, but I felt like I learned more in this class than in all my years of riding. As for the cost, I kept wondering "How can they do all this for what they charge?" Luckily, they do get lots of sponsorship. I just wish I had done the school a long time ago. It would have saved me a lot.

Me too. I'm especially interested in hearing about the Vegas track, since Dec will be my first time there, but I really would have to recommend doing the school next year at Miller. That place is track nirvana.

VetteRacer - they stay at the Orleans when in Vegas and provide CBR600RRs set up individually for each rider. Mine came with Satos and reverse shift!

More info on the schoolhttps://www.fastfreddie.com/default.htm

So what is Freddie really teaching for 1000 bucks a day?Maybe you can enlighten some of us with lighter wallets...
Some actual points and technique would be appreciated or are any real points classyfied information...;-)?
I hear he teaches a lot trailbraking which is actually a technique dangerous for streetriding loading the front on often dirty roads...
I for one would not like to ide one of his CBR600 bikes.A bike without telelever would feel strange to me but let's hear from the graduates abut some real techniques taught at the ivy league of riding schools...!

Hey, I reckon Chris is right.

Why pay an ex world champion to teach you something about rding when you can ask Chris for free.

Maybe he can teach you more about 2 wheel riding by a factor of 9 !

I guess all that 18 wheeler experience counts more then a world championship on 2 wheels.

I want my bags, centrestand (for good pit photos) so I can do no hands, and a 30 litre tank so I cna make it around for a 5 lap long distance ride.
