I hear they are still looking for corner workers, so for any of you that are going, its a great way to see up close action.

441 Cycle (Fort Lauderdale) had free tickets (VIP) for the morning CCS races on saturday. I would assume that BMW of Daytona must also have some.

Thanks so much for that link! For awhile there I was worried I'd have to wait until after the race to hear how Nate and the rest of the team did That would be a long 8 hours (yes, I still get nervous when he races!).

Could someone remind me of where the TV coverage on this can be found. I know I saw it on RRW&T last week, but can't find it now.
Help!

I'd love to see our local guy and local (and AMA-FX) club rider (Haner) do well on his R12S, but it would seem very tough indeed to beat the much more boxer experienced Nate & Brian and Co. Ditto Emgo Suzuki.
This should be cool.

The only thing I've read is that there is no LIVE tv coverage. In the late fall, SpeedTV is going to have a one-hour recap show for it. No dates announced yet.

THanks

But bummer.

Never as much fun to watch when you know the results already.
Especially in endurance, where the leaders are rarely on the same lap and rarely sparring directly. Not much suspense short or long term.

Will need to geek out and put a laptop in the workshop to check out the times tomorrow during the race. Wonder how loaded the connection will be.

Some incoming shots from the SJBMW guys at Daytona. They say it's very very hot and humid there, but they're having a great time.

9 laps into it, an Aprilia and a SV1000S are 20 seconds out front, with San Jose BMW in 3rd and another R1200s in 5th.

7:37 to go.

Can you believe a couple beemers are leading now.
Last time that happened was the boxer cup.
Nate and SJBMW are doing darn well, and you really have to give credit to Haner & Co in 2nd now, given they don't have any beemer chassis experience.

Everyone other than the two R1200S's are now down a lap! The San Jose team must have done a pit stop or something, as they temporarily dropped to third and are now running second (lap 107).

Spoke to Dean briefly; his cell phone battery is almost gone. Brian/Nate/Stephan have led about 50 of the 110 laps so far. Brian got on about 10-15 minutes ago and will ride for an hour...

Notice the BMWs are acquiring their fastest laps as they go? Almost all the other teams seem to have their fastest laps behind them. Maybe Viagra should look into sponsoring the boxers...
