Holy fackin crap.

YAHBO SAY YO!

Long time no love my Pelican People. How I miss thee. Where do I start? Christ...I can't even remember what crazy distorted tales I was telling you way back when.

Left Long Island in April 04. Sold the house in Hampton Bays and went on tour working for Mr. Werner Wachter as an Edelweiss guide. (Did that spring/summer of 04 and 05.) Resigned due to pressure from the GF. Being away six weeks at a time was not working out. Bought a big old house in Ryegate Corner, VT in October 04 with my now ex, Heather. We had big plans but they faded and dissolved like they do sometimes.

Worked at a John Deere shop wrenching and dealing with boring and dull co-workers. Couldn't take the country music station they were piping in and split. For real. Rolled up onto the St. Johnsbury-GMC Pontiac-Buick dealership one summer day on the GS with their "Experienced Sales Help Wanted" ad in hand and was hired on the spot. That was a year ago August. Sold 12-18 cars a month for the first year and "promoted" to finance manager last month. Longer hours, more stress...went from loving my job to not.

My brother is living with me (I went and got him after a two month binge/disappearing act) and he has had his problems. Having a smooth go of it right now though. He is working and contributing even though he is wanted in three states. If you have ever been to the P&H Truckstop off Interstate 91 in northern VT in the past five months, you may have sampled his breadstuffs. He works third shift as the overnight baker. He is a good dude but with some issues. His neurosis manifests itself in "arranging" and "placing" items in certain ways. He folds things intricately and sets things up in odd ways from cabinet contents to photographs. Facinating and sad at the same time. he chain smokes and drinks four pots of coffee a day with 3/4 of a cup poured being whole milk. Which he consumes five-eight gallons a week.

I was asked to train a new salesgirl back in late August because I was considered the best candidate to instill good habits in a greenpea...her name is Mary and she is 20. I taught her how to sell cars and then we fell in love. Stupid love. Like, gonna take off in June on the GS and say F it to the whole working thing and live a little. Who knows where we will end up? Northern Cali? Montana? (Missoula is a sweet lil town)...Any suggestions? I can take my car biz experience anywhere. Any place in the world has to be busier ($$) then fakkin St Johnsbury, Vermont. Gonna try and keep the house, but not against selling it.

How are my brothers? Who is left from our old crew? Please reply and let me know what the new word is.

YAHBO FEEL GOOD!

YAHBO STILL HUNGRY!!

YAHBO STILL LOVE MUCH!!!

Good to hear from you again, YAHBO. You're right about your car biz skills; jobs everywhere for that. Been in that business for 19 years. F&I can be big money, but it takes a cold heart IMO. The internet took all the fun out the business, which is on its ass anyways.

Will your brother be okay if you leave? Can you rent your house and cover the nut well enough? Lots of opportunity and riding in CA!

Good to hear from your twisted carcass. Sorry we didn't get to hang when you were in Austin. Schedules just stupid-outta-synch.

Greetings to you Mr. YAHBO. You have been missed. Good luck with "crazy love". I still remember your words, "Life is what's in front of you, not what's behind you."

Good to hear from you YAHBO. Glad you know love's stupid, or is it that love makes us do stupid things? I forget and I'm dumb in that regards.

Nice to hear from you. Take a lot of notes as you move along your bumpy road - I see good material here for a book.

YAHBO! It sounds like we're living parallel lives (almost). An ex named Heather, a sibling crashing with us. I moved to Parker, CO in January '06, and am moving back to FL in Jan '07. Haven't done the motorcycle tour-guide or car salesman gig....but we'll see what the future holds.

Sounds like you've still got it all figured out. Get on the bike, see where it takes you. F*&$ the real world!

Welcome back, Yahbo. Post pics (of the ex).

The real world is what you make it brother! There is beauty if only we would look for it. I agree with the picture request. Hawkeye does not know Yahbo, but Hawkeye thinks Yahbo might be a lot of fun.
